American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on October 8, 1968. She played Ainsley Hayes's role in The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002 (2006)) as well as Det. Calleigh Duquesne, CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012

 Procter was born on the 8th of October, 1968. William Procter, an obstetrician had adopted her as an infant . He also adopted Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. Procter was born in Raleigh. She was only three years old old when her parents separated. Whit her older brother, is also adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter went to school in Raleigh. Procter was a student at East Carolina University and was an active member of Alpha Delta Pi. She worked as a anchor on television for WNCT-TV Greenville, North Carolina. After graduation, she graduated with degrees in journalism, and dance.
