Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich is a Serbian actress, director , and singer, was born in Serbia on October 29 of 1976. She is best known for her role in the role of NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.



 



 Early childhood education and early life



 Govich was born in Norman County, Oklahoma. Dr. Bruce Michael Govich who passed away in 1998, and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich[2] were her parents. Marilyn currently teaches voice and Bruce was employed at the University of Oklahoma. Her father is Serbian and her mother is of Scottish and English heritage. Milica Govich is her aunt. She has been seen on film, television, and Broadway.



 



 Milena graduated from Norman High School in 1995 as the class valedictorian. She followed her academic family to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma, being valedictorian again, this time with two degrees in performance and pre-medical studies. She also had minors in violin and dance. Govich at the time of her graduation moved to New York City in pursuit of acting opportunities.
